ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Surveillance Audit Report

Hits:303   Date:2026-07-28

Quality is no longer simply about the quality of products; it is the core foundation for a company's stable operation and steady development. The ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audit, as an annual system check-up, uses standardized and systematic management approaches to help us identify loopholes in daily management, gradually improving our products and management.

From June 2nd to 3rd, 2026, Zhongshan Xiangrong Casters Manufacturing Co., Ltd. successfully completed and passed its second ISO 9001:2015 quality management system surveillance audit. This audit was conducted by senior auditors Mr. Luo and Ms. Xin Hua from Beijing Samsung 9000 Certification Center. The audit was divided into two main parts: document review and on-site audit. Document Review: The audit team randomly selected various system control documents and full-process quality records from the company, and conducted on-site inquiries with personnel in various departments. Each functional department prepared supporting materials in advance according to the audit plan and cooperated with the auditors throughout the process to complete the document verification and record checking.

On-site audit: Auditors went deep into the production workshop, randomly selecting multiple production machines to check their operation and maintenance status, tracking multiple key production processes throughout, verifying the implementation of on-site operations against system standards, and collecting various supporting materials for on-site control.

During this audit, the two auditors communicated extensively with the heads of various departments. A minor non-compliance was identified for the purchasing department. Based on this issue and the optimization suggestions provided by the auditors, this supervisory audit yielded many profound insights for all management personnel.

The specific details of this minor non-compliance are as follows: According to Clause 3.1 of the company's "Supplier Quarterly Assessment Form" (Document No. XR/WI-BC-044, Version B06), the purchasing department is required to complete supplier assessments quarterly. However, the quarterly assessment record for the surface treatment supplier for the first quarter of 2026 could not be provided on-site. This issue does not comply with the requirements of Clause 8.4.2 of GB/T19001-2016 standard regarding external supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.

In response to this issue, the purchasing department immediately conducted a root cause analysis: the personnel in charge had not strictly implemented the requirements of the "Supplier Management and Control Procedures," and had neglected to conduct the supplier's first-quarter assessment. The department simultaneously developed a comprehensive rectification plan: the supplier's first-quarter 2026 assessment data was immediately completed and archived; all purchasing staff underwent specialized training on supplier management procedures, clearly explaining the assessment timeline and operational steps to prevent similar omissions from recurring. The ISO specialist from the quality control department will subsequently monitor the effectiveness of the rectification.

Obtaining ISO9001 certification is only the first step. Ultimately, implementing this quality system is about upgrading the company's overall management approach. The core of this standard is that everything revolves around customer needs. From early-stage R&D and workshop production to sales and delivery, every step must aim to meet or even exceed customer expectations. From incoming material inspection, regular supplier evaluation, and record-keeping for each production process to finished product testing and warehousing, every step must have clear procedures and complete records for easy traceability.

By establishing clear systems to regulate everyone's work behavior and standardizing various business processes, quality management is no longer just a slogan on the wall, but something everyone consciously strives to do well in their daily work. The minor issues uncovered in this audit also served as a reminder to all colleagues that processes are not just for show; they must be implemented rigorously.

Going forward, we will continuously conduct self-checks and rectifications against the system requirements, gradually refining ordinary, qualified products into high-quality, premium ones. The process of optimizing management inevitably involves continuous adjustments and improvements, but each refinement strengthens the company's foundation. Only by always prioritizing quality can the company achieve long-term, stable development.
